For anti-infective drugs
Indication
Meropenem is clinically suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria:
1. Respiratory infections, such as chronic bronchitis, hospital acquired pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, etc.
2. Intra-abdominal infections, such as cholecystitis, cholangitis, liver abscess, peritonitis, etc.
3. Urinary and reproductive system infections, such as pyelonephritis, complicated cystitis, endometritis, uterine annexitis, intrauterine infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine connective tissue inflammation.
4. Bone, joint and skin, soft tissue infections, such as cellulitis, abscess around the anus, osteomyelitis, arthritis, traumatic wound infection, burn wound infection, surgical wound infection, jaw bone and cellulitis around the jaw.
5. Eye and ear, nose and throat infections.
6. Empiric treatment, for adults with neutropenia with fever, can be used alone or in combination with antiviral or antifungal drugs.
7. It can be used alone or in combination with other antimicrobial agents to treat multiple bacterial infections.
8. Other serious infections, such as meningitis, sepsis, etc.
